Accessible Beach Day
Help celebrate International Day of People with a Disability on Sunday 3 December from 10 am with a day at the beach!
Choose from a range of inclusive activities including surfing and guided beach walks at the beach front, or sports and activities at the tennis courts.
Plus, pick up a free sausage at our BBQ (donations to the Disabled Surfers Association welcome), join the conversation about improving beach accessibility at a community meeting at 12.30 pm and hear from a panel of experts at our Access and Inclusion Panel Discussion from 2 pm.
The Accessible Beach Day is a sustainable event. Please bring your own drink bottle for water refills.
Surfing
Catch a wave in Port Campbell bay with the Disabled Surfers Association Great South Coast Victoria. All equipment (including wetsuits) provided.

Guided beach walks
Take a guided beach wheelchair ride along the sand and around to the suspension bridge and back with PCSLSC. All equipment provided.

All Abilities Unleashed Kids | Variety Abilities Unleashed Kids
Get active with us in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment! Variety Abilities Unleashed Kids encourages children with disabilities to engage with local sports and active recreation opportunities.

Panel Discussion: Exploring Access and Inclusion
Join host James Czencz and panelists Cr Jo Beard, Emma Olivier, Patrick Caruana and Sara Wakeling in a discussion about access, inclusion and invisible disability.

Join the conversation about how the community can improve beach accessibility with the Port Campbell Accessible Beaches Project. Your input and ideas can help with the direction and concept of the proposal.
Parking
Participants are encouraged to be dropped off at the surf club, with parking available at the Morris Street car park (500m up the road). There will be a dedicated drop off area for participants in front of the club.
