Council’s suite of property, both land and buildings, is managed by the Facilities and Recreation Team. The team plans and coordinates management, maintenance and use of Council’s community buildings, property and recreation facilities including township halls, senior citizens centres, kindergartens, playgrounds, swimming pools, sports stadiums, libraries and public open space.
From time to time, Council has property or land available for lease.
The Camperdown Livestock Selling Centre is a quality assured centre under the National Saleyards quality assurance program. Sales are held each Tuesday at the Centre on Cressy Street, Camperdown.
The Shire owns a small partly-sealed airstrip at Cobden, suitable for light planes and helicopters.
Council has a number of venues available for use by business, community organisations or general hire.

Corangamite Shire has permanent skate ramps in Camperdown, Cobden, Port Campbell, Simpson, Terang and Timboon.
Our sporting centres are available to hire for private or club activities.
The Shire operates 6 outdoor swimming pools which open from late November to late March year year.
