Environment Support Grants
The Environment Support Grants provides financial assistance to incorporated community groups, organisations and individuals to undertake environmental and sustainability projects on public and private land within Corangamite Shire.

This year, 2016 -2017, the Grants will be offering up to $2,000 (GST exclusive) matching funding to environmental and sustainability projects which meet the funding criteria.
Projects with activities relating to the following outcomes are eligible to apply:
- Weed control to protect and enhance environmental assets
- Protection and enhancement of remnant native vegetation
- An increase in the extent, condition and connectivity of native vegetation
- Improvements to soil health and water quality
- Waste reduction and education
- Increased community understanding of environmental and sustainability issues
Projects from incorporated community groups who wish to improve the energy and/or water efficiency of community facilities are also eligible to apply.

The guidelines provide detailed information on what activities/items will be funded and what won’t be funded, the eligibility criteria, funding timelines, funding conditions and the funding criteria which all applications received will be assessed against.
