Maternal & Child Health

The Maternal and Child Health Service is a free service and works in partnership with families to care for babies and young children until they start school.

The visits focus on optimising child and family health, wellbeing, safety, learning and development.

Maternal and Child Health centres are staffed by registered nurses with qualifications in midwifery, and family and child health.
