The 2021-2025 Corangamite Shire Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan provides a strategic framework to address health and wellbeing in our community over the next four years. The MPHWP is one of three plans required under Victorian government legislation, specifically the Public Health Act 2008. This Plan aligns with the Community Vision, Council Plan and the Municipal Strategic Statement.
Council has worked with multiple community agencies, Council departments and health services to develop a Plan that is focused on working together to improve equity of access for residents in our Shire.
Council values the health services and the many community organisations who participated and supported development of this Plan, recognizing that partnerships are vital to achieving positive health and wellbeing outcomes in our Shire.
The Healthy Well Corangamite Leadership Group made up of key services meets regularly to deliver on annual action plans and report to the Corangamite Health Collaborative with support from the South West Primary Care Partnership.
