Heatwave
Extreme heat can be a serious risk to the health and wellbeing of all members of the community. However, during times of hot weather, babies, young children, frail older adults and people with a disability or chronic medical condition are at an increased risk of heat related illnesses. Simple measures such as staying indoors out of the heat, drinking regularly and staying in touch with others who may need assistance will help reduce the risk.
