August Council Meeting wrap

AT ITS AUGUST MEETING, COUNCIL: 

• received the Finance Report for the period ending 30 June 2019 

• noted the 12 -month provisional results for the period ending 30 June 2019 for the legislated performance indicators under the Local Government (Planning and Reporting) Regulations 2014 

• adopted the Occupational Health and Safety Policy 2019 

• approved the transfer of lease for a hangar at Cobden Airstrip 

• approved Quick Response Grants for:
  Corangamite Arts Inc. ($500) to buy fittings for exhibiting works
  Loch Ard Pony Club ($499) for venue hire and perpetual trophy and awards for interclub event
  Derrinallum Yacht and Power Boat Club ($500) towards extending permanent shaded area at the club
  Timboon and District Hall Committee of Management ($500) towards cost of 50 year celebration; and
  Timboon Recreation Reserve Committee of Management ($500) to repair grounds.
