What happened at July meeting of Council
At its July meeting, Council:
- Procurement Policy
- Child Safe Policy
- Long Term Financial Plan; and
- Camperdown Botanic Gardens and Arboretum Management Report, Succession Plan and Action Plan
- Allocated:
- $25,517 in Community Grants;
- $63,376 in Facility Grants; and
- $30,000 in Environment Support Grants
- Endorsed 15 projects totalling $2.12M for Federal COVID-19 Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program 2020 and resolved to write to Federal Member for Wannon Dan Tehan, advising of the projects and noting appreciation for the funding
- Approved carry forward of $250,000 for Lismore Swimming Pool wet deck from 2019-2020 Budget
- Awarded contracts for:
- Design, Supply and Installation of Lismore pool wet deck
- Supply and installation of Cell 15 geosynthetics; and
- Provision of roadside vegetation management including tree services, roadside slashing and spraying
- Awarded Quick Response Grants to:
- Terang RSL ($500) to install power to ANZAC Rest
- Camperdown and District Historical Society ($500) to buy a multifunction printer
- Received signed Oath of Office and Code of Conduct declaration from Cr Conheady
- Resolved to write to the Premier, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and the Great Ocean Road Authority about Princetown and Port Campbell recreation reserves
