What happened at the August Council meeting
AT ITS AUGUST MEETING, COUNCIL:
- Established a new Audit and Risk Committee, adopted the Audit and Risk Committee Charter dated August 2020 and appointed Council members Crs Brown and Durant and independent members Matt Makin, Colin Hayman and Phillippa Dee
- Adopted a new Committees of Council Policy and appointed new committees for:

(b) Camperdown Swimming Pool
(c) Cobden Aerodrome
(d) Cobden Civic Hall
(e) Cobden Swimming Pool
(f) Ecklin Hall
(g) Kilnoorat Cemetery
(h) Lake Tooliorook Recreation Reserve
(i) Lismore Swimming Pool
(j) Mt Leura & Mt Sugarloaf
(k) Mount Noorat
(l) Port Campbell Public Purpose Reserve
(m) Simpson and District Public Hall
(n) Skipton Swimming Pool
(o) Terang Civic Hall

- Revoked Election Period (Caretaker) Policy and Public Participation at Council Meetings Policy, and adopted the Governance Rules in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.

- Resolved to write to members of the Youth Council and FReeZa Youth Crew to thank them for their assistance in developing SYNC Youth Strategy 2020-2025
- Approved a Quick Response Grant ($305) for Western Plains Working Together incorporated for local promotion of e-waste and battery recycling
- Awarded Contract 2021008 Construction of New Sewer Line at 220 Park Avenue, Camperdown to Otway Civil Pty Ltd for the amount of $352,335 (exc. GST).
- Adopted the Port Campbell Township Revitalisation Design Development Report and resolved to proceed to the construction documentation stage based on the adopted report
- Adopted an updated Instrument of Delegation
