At its July meeting Council:

  • Endorsed the Committee of Management for the Cobden Recreation Centre for 2021-2023
  • Received the results of the Audit and Risk Committee annual assessment for 2021
  • Adopted the
    • Planning Scheme Amendment C51
    • Domestic Wastewater Contribution Program Policy dated July 2021
    • Quick Response Grants Policy dated July 2021
    • Support for Councillor Professional Development Policy dated July 2021
  • Allocated
    • Events and Festivals Grants: $70,500, $12,800 in-kind support and $10,410 in fee waivers to 15 individuals and groups
    • Community Grants: $17,077 to 20 groups
    • Facility Grants: $63,048, including $13,048 in surplus funds from the Community Grants Program, to 41 applicants
    • Environment Support Grants: $65,755, including $15,755 in surplus Community Grants program funds, to 17 groups and 13 individuals
    • Quick Response Grants to
      • Progressing Cobden ($500) for CBN Hub set-up
      • Camperdown Junior Hockey Club ($500) to buy team hoodies for Development Squad
  • Accepted the MAV collaborative tender for provision of electricity to small metered sites July 2021-30 June 2024
  • Awarded

    • Contract 2021026 Twelve Apostles Trail Stage 1 – Package D Along Timboon-Peterborough Road & Timboon-Port Campbell Road between Haywards Road and Glerums Road to Civilnow Pty Ltd
  • Approved replacement of the Burrupa Road bridge
  • Received the Corporate Risk Register Strategic Risk Report
  • Authorised investment officers to invest an amount of $5 million with the Victorian Managed Fund Corporation 
  • Updated the

    • Environment Protection Act 2017 - Instrument of Appointment and Authorisation and Instrument of Sub-delegation
