What happened at the May Council Meeting
At its May Council Meeting, Council:
- Received the 2020-2021 Mt Noorat Management Committee Annual Report
- Appointed Leslie Munroe Cameron as a community representative on the committee until June 2022
- Resolved to write to outgoing committee member Rob Durant to thank him for his time and contribution to the committee
- Accepted the gift of a parcel of land on Leahy’s Lane, Timboon from E.W. Pastoralists
- authorised the CEO to enter into a lease agreement with Timboon Action to maintain that land for the Timboon community
- Released the draft 2021-2022 Budget for public feedback
- Released the draft Revenue and Rating Plan for public feedback
- Adopted the Corangamite Shire Road Management Plan May 2021
- Adopted the Open Data Access Policy dated May 2021
- Allocated Quick Response Grants to

- Camperdown SES ($395) to restore town Christmas decorations.
- Camperdown Toy Library ($499) to buy storage containers;
- Simpson Bowls Club ($500) for a ‘Buy a Brick’ fund-raising billboard
- Port Campbell Surf Lifesaving Club ($480) to buy a printer and scanner.
- Received the report on Council’s swimming pool operations for the 2020-2021 season
- Awarded contract 2022007 for the Cleaning of Council Buildings to Bluegum Services
- Awarded contract 2022001 – External Plant Hire and Associated Services to a list of Tenderers
