What happened at the May 2022 Council Meeting
At its May meeting Council:
- Received the 2021-2022 Mt Noorat Management Committee Annual Report
- Appointed the following community representatives on the committee until June 2026:

- Reduced the size of the committee by one community member to 12 members in total
- Released the draft 2022-2023 Budget, incorporating the 2022-2023 Fees and Charges Schedule, for public feedback
- Adopted new:

- Child Safe Policy
- Business Continuity Policy dated May 2022 and noted the revised Business Continuity Framework
- Essential Safety Measures Policy
- Noted the officer’s report and endorsed the composition of the Project Working Group for the Camperdown Production Precinct Servicing Masterplan
- Nominated Central Ward Cr Laurie Hickey to chair the group
- Allocated Facility Design Grants to:

- Camperdown Football Netball Club ($5,000) for football changerooms including umpires’ room, new public toilets, coaches’ box, timekeepers and scoreboard operator rooms, netball changerooms, traffic management plans and formalised accessible car parking bays
- Lismore Recreation Reserve ($5,000) for female-friendly changerooms and toilets at existing social rooms and installation of a new playground, including safety fence
- Terang & District Indoor Sports and Recreation Centre ($5,000) for accessible amenities upgrades
- Allocated Quick Response Grants to:

- Power Creek Reserve Committee of Management ($500) for weed control and replanting
- Cobden and District Pony Club Inc. ($500) to buy first-aid kits
- Noorat and District Progress Association Inc. ($112) to buy materials to make Christmas decorations
- Rotary Club of Camperdown ($500) to buy a television for use by community groups at the Camperdown Pastoral and Agricultural Society’s Showgrounds
- Camperdown Bridge Club ($320) to replace broken card tables
- Camperdown Botanic Gardens and Arboretum Trust Inc. ($500) to buy and repair garden tools and consumables
- Cobden Historical Society ($500) to install a flagpole
