What happened at the October Council meeting
At its October meeting, Council:
- Considered and adopted the 2023-24 Annual Report. Highlights in the report included an investment of $7.55M in renewing local roads; Completing the Council works program two months ahead of schedule, including 20 rehabilitation projects, 18 footpath projects and six kerb and channel projects; opening a new trail between Port Campbell and Timboon; significant works on the Port Campbell Town Centre Revitalisation Project; and Commenced the sale of land in Timboon as part of the Unlocking Housing Timboon project.
- Welcomed three new Australian Citizens at a citizenship ceremony. The new citizens originally came from the UK, the Philippines and China.
