Get Ready to Grow program will unlock business potential
Published on 01 April 2025
Business owners can get so busy getting the day-to-day job done that they fall short of their full potential.
Corangamite will host the six-week ‘Get Ready to Grow’ program, presented by Sharing Shed and supported by RMIT Activator.
The free program will run from Wednesday 30 April until Wednesday 4 June.
Participants will get:
- A Plan on a Page
- A roadmap for the next 12 months
- A strategy framework
- Networking with like-minded entrepreneurs
- Practical tools & resources to implement right away
- 1-on-1 mentoring for an hour each week
Council Manager Economy and Prosperity Katy McMahon encouraged business operators to apply for a place in the program.
“Do you need to find time to work ON your business instead of IN your business?” Ms McMahon asked.
“Whether you have just started out or looking to scale up, the Sharing Shed team can help you improve your organisation, planning, confidence and knowledge to grow your business.”
Linda Wong from the Sharing Shed said: “We aim to make the complex simple and sometimes it’s just about getting back to basics.
“That’s what the Plan on a Page is all about. We take you through the logical sequence of filling out a Business Model Canvas and explain WHY each element is important for your business.”
“Our framework for completing a 12-month roadmap will help you set objectives that will inspire you and link key result measures that are clear.
“The combination of those two elements will drive a practical plan for what you need to focus on for the next 12 months. The outcome of this roadmap is making you accountable, setting priorities and setting focus.”
Places are limited and applications are open at tinyurl.com/RTG-CSC until Thursday 17 April.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome by Thursday 24 April.
The first and last sessions will be in Camperdown with the rest online.
