March 2019 Council meeting wrap

  • approved a permit for a microbrewery, sale and consumption of liquor at 26 Lord Street Port Campbell 
  • approved a permit to change site access to the Blair Land, off McCrae Street, Port Campbell, from Pitcher Street to Hennessy Street
  • adopted the Preferred Concept Plan for the Port Campbell Town Centre Project, and resolved to commission detailed designs based on the adopted preferred concept plan
  • received the Port Campbell Community Plan Update
  • adopted the Resource Recovery and Waste Management Strategy 2019-2029
  • authorised submission of a business case for the South West Councils ICT Alliance – ERP Shared Service (in conjunction with Moyne Shire Council and Warrnambool City Council) for funding under the Victorian Government Rural Councils Transformation Program (RCTP)
  • approved Quick Response Grants Program for: Terang Men’s Shed ($500) to improve car parking and accessibility; and
    Lismore & Surrounding District Men’s Shed ($500) to build a vehicle crossover to allow universal access
  • nominated Mayor Neil Trotter, Deputy Mayor Ruth Gstrein and Cr Wayne Oakes to attend the National General Assembly of Local Government 2019 and Cr Jo Beard to attend the National Local Roads and Transport Congress 2019, and
  • approved related expenditure consistent with the Councillor Professional Development Policy and Councillor Expenses Policy.
