This policy establishes the basis for the investment of Council’s surplus funds and to optimise the balance between risk and return. To this effect, this policy ensures legal investments according to Council requirements and security mindfulness, establishment of controls to control financial risks, authorisation and documentation of all transactions, and cash flow enables daily operation.
