Corangamite Shire Council is looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as Coordinator Community Safety & Resilience.

What you will do:
This role involves coordinating and delivering Local Laws and Emergency Management services and programs to meet legislative requirements. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance emergency prevention (including fire prevention), response, relief, recovery, and community resilience building.

What you can bring:
- A formal qualification in a relevant field is desirable or several years relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and the community to achieve set goals.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams to deliver high quality services and/or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation and policies to make decisions.
- A Victorian drivers licence and current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
