Co-Design Workshop - Environment and Sustainability Strategy

A flourishing, healthy environment and more sustainable practices are crucial to the wellbeing of our Shire and underpin our tourism and agriculture sectors. We need to work with our community to improve the environment.

Council has committed to developing a new Environment and Sustainability Strategy. The new Strategy will build on previous efforts and provide a roadmap to deliver environmental and sustainability initiatives across Council operations and support our community efforts. 

To help Council understand community perspectives on environmental and sustainability issues, concerns, opportunities, and priorities, Council seeks to engage people in the initial co-design phase of the process.

Council will be conducting two 2-hour workshops with the general community on Wednesday 31 May:

• Workshop 1 – 1-3 pm
• Workshop 2 – 5-7 pm

Both these workshops will be held at the Killara Centre, 210-212 Manifold Street, Camperdown.
