Cattle underpasses

As well as being a hazard to motorists and a bother to clean off your car duco, the corrosive nature of cow manure means cattle crossing over roads deteriorates the road surface.

We encourage farmers to build underground stock crossings where possible.  Funding is available from the State Government through the Victorian Farmers Federation to assist farmers construct cattle underpasses.
