Stewart Park was created in the 1980's from the Police Paddocks in Skipton
It is an environmental park along the banks of the Mount Emu Creek with access to visitors with a viewing platform for the healthy population of platypus in the creek
Stewart Park Committee of Management meets on the second Monday of each month at 6pm in the Skipton Mechanics Hall
Visitors to meetings always welcome and volunteer help with projects especially welcomed
Basic picnic facilities available, walks along Mount Emu Creek to view platypus and other wildlife
