Facility Design Grants Program | 2023-24 now closed

This program will provide financial assistance to organisations to fund schematic designs or quantity surveyor costs for redevelopment or new facilities, where communities conduct, organise and participate in sport and recreation.

What types of things are funded through the Facility Design Grants?

The Facility Design Grants Program offers grants of up to $7500 to help organisations pay for schematic designs or quantity surveyor costs to redevelop their facilities, or to plan new ones. 

This funding will let sporting groups with financial capacity and relevant projects to be “shovel ready” for future applications to grant programs.

Organisations whose main facilities are in the Shire are eligible to apply and it is hoped the program would improve residents’ experience of taking part in sport and recreation.

Council is committed to supporting opportunities for people to engage in healthy and active lifestyles, and to providing high-quality community facilities 

How do I apply? 

Applications for the 2023-24 funding round is now closed.

• Funding is not available to individuals
• It is expected that designs will be completed by 30 November 2024.
