Overview

Corangamite Shire is providing fully subsidised training opportunities as part of its Sync-up career upskilling program for Corangamite Youth.

External youth opportunities and training:

TAC L2P Program

The TAC L2P Learner Mentor Driver Program a community-based program developed to assist eligible young Victorian learner drivers between the ages of 16 and 21 years (and in some circumstances, up to 23 years) who do not have a who do not have access to a supervising driver, or an appropriate vehicle gain driving experience required for a probationary licence.

This program is delivered in our local area with Mortlake & Terang Health Service by Sally Buckland. If you are interested in getting involved in the program please contact them on 5592 0222.

Free TAFE Courses

The Victorian Government has introduced Free TAFE courses for all Victorians. Even if you already have a VET qualification or a university degree, you can now access Free TAFE courses, online and in-person. We want to provide opportunities for all youth in Corangamite Shire, but we need your help. Please complete the survey below to help us understand what you really want. The results of this survey will help us plan activities and opportunities for youth and assist us to apply for extra funding to make these happen.
