On 26 January each year, we publicly recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of people who make a positive difference within Corangamite Shire.
We have many champions in our Shire who do wonderful deeds in their community, who work quietly around our towns, drive kids to footy practice, deliver meals-on-wheels, perhaps volunteer with CFA or other community organisations or have just made a difference. The Community Volunteer Awards are an opportunity for these people and/or community organisations to be recognised for their contribution.
Our 2024 Australia Day Award winners were:
Community Volunteers of the Year: Ian (Bidge) and Barb Boyd - Camperdown
Young Community Volunteer of the Year: Susanna Ryan - Port Campbell
Community Event of the Year: Camperdown Theatre Company 75th Anniversary Spectacular
Nominations open Monday September 16 and close Monday 28 October. Click here to submit a nomination.
