Footpaths, kerb and channel

Like the majority of municipalities across Victoria, Corangamite Shire builds new footpaths and kerb and channel under Special Charge Schemes – where residents who benefit from the new infrastructure contribute a portion of the cost.

In Corangamite Shire, we set this cost at no more than 65% of the entire project.  After initial construction, the ongoing maintenance of footpaths and kerb and channel in Council’s responsibility.
