Landfill and transfer stations

Council owns and manages the Corangamite Regional Landfill at Naroghid and transfer stations operating at Derrinallum, Port Campbell, Simpson, Skipton and Timboon.

When visiting any of Council's Waste Disposal facilities, please ensure all loads are secure and sorted.

Waste Fees and Charges

Waste disposal fees and charges apply to drop off waste materials at the landfill or transfer station sites. Many items can be disposed of without cost. The cost to dispose of waste will depend on the size of your load and what materials you have to dispose.  Naroghid Landfill and all transfer stations accepts both cash and card.

Waste Facility Opening Times

All facilities are closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Code Red Days.

Lighting fires and salvaging materials is not permitted at any of the facilities. Asbestos, liquid wastes, volatile, explosive or flammable substances and medical/infected or prescribed waste materials are not accepted at any of the sites.
